The Campus Beautification program was born out of a need to assist with the clean-up of the University of Florida campus in the wake of Hurricane Irma in 2017. On the heels of this successful collaboration, the Brown Center for Leadership & Service and UF Facilities Services created a partnership to provide consistent on-campus service opportunities. This program allows the UF community to actively engage in keeping our campus beautiful.
This service opportunity is available to students, faculty and staff. We do offer class/group involvement, please contact our office for more information.
Each service event is approximately 1 hour in length. Multiple events are offered each semester and participants may sign up for as little as one or every event.
Come ready to get dirty. Each service event takes place at a different location on campus. Closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes are suggested. All other materials needed will be provided.
The Campus Beautification program provides an opportunity for participants to contribute and positively impact the campus, help with environmental preservation, and build relations with other members of the UF community.
